The Moon Marble Company hosts the "Marble Crazy" event which is held annually on the first weekend of March. This is a glassworking artist show featuring 20 + artists from across the nation. All of the artists demonstrate their own marble making techniques over the course of two days, Friday and Saturday. In addition to handmade marble making demonstrations, we also have an engineer who demonstrates his marble machine, which he designed and built after studying a patent of the first invention of a marble machine by the MF Christensen Company. For up to date information about this event, visit www.marblecrazy.com.
Makers of wooden swords, shields, game boards, bell wands, etc., you can find our woodworks at the Kansas City Renaissance Festival starting Labor Day weekend and running through the weekend following Columbus Day. The festival takes place on Saturdays and Sundays, plus Labor Day and Columbus Day from 10am - 7pm, rain or shine. For more information about this year's faire, go to www.kcrenfest.com.
