Quintain

The Quintain was a tool that knights used to practice joisting. It had a large bough that swiveled on a wheel around a stump with a shield attached to one end of the bough and a bag of sand the other. This simulated the approximate resistence of an actual opponent. Scaled to be played with the Knights' Castle or on it's own. Approximately 4 1/2" tall with a 7 1/2" arm. Made of a high quality plastic. Not for children under 3 years.
