Sock Monkey Marble

Handmade marble by Sara Sally LeGrand.  Sara is a glassworking demonstrator at the Moon Marble Company.  She also teaches beadmaking classes in our School of Glass.  She is better known for her beadmaking and is the president of the International Beadmakers Association.  This quaint little marble is pale green and features the portrait of a sock monkey on the surface.  It is a sculptural relief of the face, which means it sticks out on top of the marble and is not meant to roll.  The marble diameter is around 11/16" and it is 12/16" wide with the face.  Signed by the artist.
